Day Four

Our return trip from the first safari was more memerable than the trip to camp. Couple of reasons, a flat tire and herds of giraffes. On the game drives in the reserve we saw three. On the trip home were multiple herds of 10 to 15, some right near the road. But we'll be getting closer to Giraffes on day 5. There are four giraffes in the picture with Sue below.

Back in town we head straight to the hotel. get there in time for a quick lunch, a short rest then on to a party. This one is called the Mehendi and Sangeet. The women got their hands (and some did feet as well) tattooed with Henna. Shyam, the groom showed up ready to party.
There was a great show put on by both families and of course, food, drinks, and dancing.

Here's a shot of Sue and I, the next shot is of Shilpa, Shyam and their folks at the Sangeet.

As promissed, here are a few shots of the tent we stayed in a Sarova Tent Hotel.
Office area I was able to write notes in.

The Bath area was extreemly spacious.

Huge King size bedand plenty of windows, closed in this picture.

Front doors to the tent. This shows the front porch.
Sue and I were actually checking out when I snapped this shot of her.

VERY COOL!!!! I love the picture of you with the giraffe coming up behind you! I looks like you have seen much more wildlife than I have so far. Hopefully I will see more when I have more time to go out and look for it (plus it is hunting season up here so everything is hiding)

I can't wait to see you guys in December.
